Electrical Design Engineer
This position has no direct reports. |
Duties: |
• Perform engineering design evaluations. Determine feasibility of designing new equipment or modifying existing designs considering costs, available space and time limitations
• Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform Engineering tasks
• Identify and recommend improvements in processes on a continuing basis and assist in implementation
• Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications
• Prepare and study technical drawings and specifications of electrical systems to ensure that installation and operations can conform to standards Communicate/interact with the machine shop and maintenance department regarding production problems and process opportunities

Qualifications: |
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in design necessary
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and how to design machinery for production needs
• Quality oriented
• PLC programming required
• Robotics and vision system experience highly desired
