| Family Promise, a new 501(C) (3) organization, serving homeless families with children is seeking a part time Case Manager. |
Duties: |
| Responsibilities include: assisting guest families transitioning from homelessness to self sufficiency through development of family plans; assisting with social service needs; advocating with agencies for guests on an as needed basis as well as assisting with coverage in the Day Center and participating in training of volunteers. This will be a 25 hour week position with a possibility of additional hours initially. |
Qualifications: |
The ideal candidate should have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related Human Services field; MSW preferred
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Experience in the DSS system
• Valid driver’s license
• Compassion and concern for the homeless
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Bilingual Spanish a plus
