| The Moses Cone - Wesley Long Community Health Foundation is located in Greensboro, NC, and was founded in 1997 after the merger of The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital and Wesley Long Community Hospital. The Foundation has granted over $50 Million in grants to organizations, programs and initiatives in the local community since its inception. The mission of the Foundation is to invest in the development and support of activities, programs, and organizations that measurably improve the health of people in the geographic area served by Moses Cone Health System. The Foundation currently has approximately $86 mm in assets. |
Duties: |
| This Chief Executive Officer is responsible for providing overall leadership and management of the Foundation in the achievement of its mission and the funding priorities of Wellness and Access to Care. The position directs and supervises the activities of the other four Foundation staff members and provides staff support for the Foundation Board of Directors. |
Qualifications: |
Minimum qualifications for this role include:
• A graduate degree in business or healthcare administration or a relevant field,
• Five to ten years senior management experience in health foundation management or comparable experience in another health related or business field required,
• Moderate level of understanding of investment management principles, including portfolio allocation and various investment instruments necessary.
